WTI Systems, Ltd. offers management, IT and systems integration services for Government, Not-For-Profit and Education organizations to develop and transform their organizations.  WTI Systems is one of the largest technology firms that specialize in fund accounting solutions in the United States.

We are expanding our team and looking for an Accounting Software Sales Executive for our Sage Fund Accounting product line.  This position will report to the Executive Vice President of Business Development.  Sage Fund Accounting is a fund accounting application that is used in more than 14,000 organizations of all sizes in the nonprofit, government and education verticals.  The award winning accounting system features a full line of tightly-integrated to meet the needs of nonprofit organizations, towns, cities, counties, municipalities and government organizations.  Sage Fund Accounting software is a preferred nonprofit and government financial management solution used to plan and manage budgets, maximize grants and other funds, manage Human Resources, and produce accurate customized reports in minutes. 

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assistance in creating marketing plan product line
• Review of marketing deliverables to determine messaging and relate your experience on past successful marketing activities
• Work to establish key verticals to target for marketing and sales activities
• Conducting general presentations to the marketplace, lunch and learns, etc.
• Updating of leads, prospects and customers along with opportunities, quote and sales orders in our Netsuite ERP system
• Assistance in developing and managing the Sage relationship
1. Review of Sage programs to determine need for taking advantage of them
2. Keep abreast of Sage initiatives and changes to the channel program
• Follow up and management of leads and marketing campaigns
• Qualification of prospective customers
• Responding to RFI’s and RFP’s
• Proposal generation
• Negotiation of contracts
• Closing contracts and processing internal paperwork for the product.

• Lead kickoff meetings to transition the project from sales to delivery team
• Limited travel which is dictated by sales prospect, conferences, etc.
• Effectively manage your own time and priorities as determined by you and strategic goals of the company

Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Experience

–       Minimum of two years of work experience in software sales with proven track record

–       Experience with Nonprofit, Government or Education sectors is a plus

–       Presentation skills

–       Excellent communication skills

–       Proficiency with the Internet

–       Word, Excel and Powerpoint

–       Base + Commission
