Tug McGraw Foundation benefits from rapid return on Kintera Sphere investment

In February 2008, WTI Systems partnered with The Tug McGraw Foundation (www.tugmcgraw.org) on their “Hits for Tug’s Team” fundraising initiative, using the Kintera Sphere Friends Asking Friends® Thon.

To date, three months post-launch, the 2008 initiative has raised over $26,000 (nearly 1/3 online) utilizing a combination of online and offline communications, a seven-fold return on the initial technology investment.  Utilizing Kintera Sphere’s Thon tools, The Tug McGraw Foundation was able to recoup it’s initial investment in less than one month.

The nationwide “Hits for Tug’s Team” program supports innovative and effective nonprofit organizations that educate and mentor students and young athletes on how to make a difference in their communities. For more information on this exciting initiative, and to make a contribution, please visit the site: www.hitsfortugsteam.kintera.org.
