Executive Bios
John Varadian, CPA - CEO
Mr. Varadian is responsible for day to day execution of the business. John has worked for WTI Systems since 1996. His experience includes accounting systems, project management, team leadership, system analysis, training and report writing. Previous to his employment at WTI, he was an auditor and certified public accountant for a small public accounting firm. John received his Bachelor in Economics from the University of Illinois and his Master’s in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
Robert Helvey - Executive Vice President
Mr. Helvey is responsible for the continued strategic development and execution of WTI Systems business development plan. Rob is a former “Big 5” Project Manager for Ernst & Young and Capgemini with over 14 years of hands on experience on various ERP and enterprise applications. He has directed and managed new business launches as well as major systems integration and business process re-engineering projects for both private and publicly traded clients throughout the United States. His past experience includes work for Time Warner Cable, Iowa Telecom, Lion’s Gate Entertainment, Cypress Communications, General Motors and IntelliMark Holdings. Rob received his Bachelor in Management from Missouri Baptist University and his Master’s in Business Administration from Lindenwood University.
Robert M. Raymond – Vice President and General Manager – Northeast Region
Mr. Raymond is responsible for running the day to day operations of the Boston office within the Northeast region. Rob is the former co-owner and President of DataNational Corporation who merged with WTI Systems in the summer of 2008. His experience includes 24 years of business development and the growth of the application consulting team within the municipal marketplace. Rob is a contributing member and guest speaker of the Massachusetts Municipal Organization and the Massachusetts Collector/Treasurer Organization. Rob received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst as well as satisfying all requirements for a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.
David Pomerantz - Director of Software Development
Mr. Pomerantz leads our software development team at WTI Systems. He has over 25 years of experience, both as a developer and technical architect of various software applications that have been successfully delivered to market. He has co-founded two software companies, including a very successful e-commerce startup company whose workforce scheduling application was distributed and implemented worldwide. This application was featured in both the Wall Street Journal and Business Week and received two national awards for design. Dave holds a software interface patent and has published articles on algorithms and event-driven programming. He received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Princeton University and a Master of Management Science from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management.
